Na mais recente Assembleia Geral, a RuyDeLacerda<\/strong> apresentou o seu C\u00f3digo de Governo ESG \u2013 Ambiental, Social e de Governa\u00e7\u00e3o \u2013 assumindo formalmente um compromisso que, na pr\u00e1tica, sempre fez parte da sua identidade. Desde a sua funda\u00e7\u00e3o, muito antes do tema ESG ganhar visibilidade ou se tornar uma exig\u00eancia para as empresas, a RuyDeLacerda j\u00e1 promovia uma atua\u00e7\u00e3o respons\u00e1vel, com respeito pelas Pessoas, pelo Meio Ambiente e por uma gest\u00e3o \u00e9tica e transparente. O que hoje se formaliza em c\u00f3digos e regulamentos, sempre esteve no centro da forma como a empresa foi constru\u00edda e conduzida.<\/p>\n

Ao longo dos anos, esse compromisso traduziu-se em investimento cont\u00ednuo na moderniza\u00e7\u00e3o tecnol\u00f3gica e na transforma\u00e7\u00e3o digital, com uma cultura aberta \u00e0 inova\u00e7\u00e3o, orientada para o cliente e alicer\u00e7ada numa estrat\u00e9gia de parcerias duradouras. O investimento no ERP PHC Software<\/strong> permitiu eliminar o uso de papel e digitalizar os processos internos, promovendo maior efici\u00eancia e sustentabilidade. Ferramentas como o CRM dedicado vieram refor\u00e7ar a gest\u00e3o comercial e a proximidade ao mercado.<\/p>\n

No pilar Ambiental (E) <\/strong>\ud83c\udf31, as a\u00e7\u00f5es falam por si. Desde a ado\u00e7\u00e3o da filosofia Kaizen at\u00e9 \u00e0 separa\u00e7\u00e3o de res\u00edduos e \u00e0 redu\u00e7\u00e3o de consumos energ\u00e9ticos e h\u00eddricos, passando pela instala\u00e7\u00e3o de pain\u00e9is solares de autoconsumo e empilhadores el\u00e9tricos, tudo reflete uma preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o constante com o impacto ambiental. Mais de 50% da frota da empresa j\u00e1 utiliza energia verde, com carregadores el\u00e9tricos instalados tanto na sede como nas resid\u00eancias dos colaboradores. A rede Mobi.e<\/strong> foi contratada para assegurar que a energia consumida \u00e9 faturada diretamente \u00e0 empresa. Obras de infraestrutura permitiram ainda a liga\u00e7\u00e3o ao coletor municipal de \u00e1guas residuais e a instala\u00e7\u00e3o de um sistema de tratamento de \u00e1guas “ENVIROChemie<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

No pilar Social (S) <\/strong>\ud83d\udc65, o foco s\u00e3o as Pessoas. Inspirada pelos exemplos do seu fundador, a empresa tem vindo a implementar pol\u00edticas internas e externas de responsabilidade social, com sal\u00e1rios dignos, apoio financeiro para mitigar os efeitos da infla\u00e7\u00e3o, condi\u00e7\u00f5es de trabalho flex\u00edveis e adequadas, e uma verdadeira concilia\u00e7\u00e3o entre vida profissional e familiar. Commitment to Sustainability: RuyDeLacerda’s ESG Governance Code<\/strong><\/p>\n

At its most recent General Assembly, RuyDeLacerda presented its ESG Governance Code \u2013 Environmental, Social and Governance \u2013 formally reinforcing a commitment that, in practice, has always been part of its identity.<\/p>\n

Since its foundation, long before ESG became visible or a requirement for companies, RuyDeLacerda has promoted responsible practices, with respect for People, the Environment, and ethical and transparent management. What is now formalized through codes and regulations has always been at the heart of how the company was built and has been run.<\/p>\n

Over the years, this commitment has translated into continuous investment in technological modernization and digital transformation, with a culture open to innovation, customer-oriented, and anchored in a strategy of long-term partnerships. Investment in the PHC Software ERP system allowed the company to eliminate paper use and digitize internal processes, promoting greater efficiency and sustainability. Tools such as a dedicated CRM system further enhanced commercial management and market proximity.<\/p>\n

In the Environmental (E)<\/strong> pillar \ud83c\udf31, actions speak for themselves. From adopting the Kaizen philosophy to waste separation and reducing energy and water consumption, to installing self-consumption solar panels and electric forklifts, every initiative reflects a constant concern for environmental impact. Over 50% of the company\u2019s fleet already runs on green energy, with electric chargers installed both at headquarters and at employees\u2019 homes. The Mobi.e network was contracted to ensure that the energy consumed is billed directly to the company. Infrastructure work also enabled a direct connection to the municipal wastewater collector and the installation of a water treatment system by ENVIROChemie.<\/p>\n

In the Social (S)<\/strong> pillar \ud83d\udc65, the focus is on People. Inspired by the example of its founder, the company has implemented both internal and external social responsibility policies, offering fair wages, financial support to offset inflation, flexible and appropriate working conditions, and a genuine work-life balance. The EFR 1000-5 Certification, awarded by the M\u00e1s Familia Foundation, confirms this commitment. Ongoing training is also a key part of the company\u2019s strategy, with opportunities in areas such as sales, NLP, and international programmes in Switzerland that foster both personal and professional growth.<\/p>\n

In the Governance (G)<\/strong> pillar \ud83c\udfdb\ufe0f, the company follows a shared leadership model between founding family members and external professionals, with clearly defined roles \u2013 President, Chairman, CEO, COO and CSO \u2013 forming a Management Board that ensures clarity and continuity. Internal communication is structured and efficient, supported by the ERP system that connects areas like logistics, sales, and accounting. Information security is ensured through daily backups and investments in advanced cybersecurity.<\/p>\n

Transparency and ethics are foundational pillars. The company adheres to a Code of Ethics, is certified in Quality by SGS, follows a Family Protocol developed with EF Consulting, and is committed to the Prompt Payment Commitment to suppliers and partners.<\/p>\n

Through this ESG Code, RuyDeLacerda reinforces its practice of Double Materiality, where social and environmental impact is given equal importance to long-term economic and financial sustainability.<\/p>\n

This path of consistency and responsibility was once again recognised in 2024, with the renewal of the PME Leader Status by IAPMEI, a distinction that reflects the company\u2019s financial soundness, quality of management, and contribution to economic and social development.<\/p>\n
