A ind\u00fastria de papel atravessa um momento de transi\u00e7\u00e3o profunda. Press\u00f5es ambientais crescentes, custos energ\u00e9ticos elevados e exig\u00eancias regulat\u00f3rias mais rigorosas est\u00e3o a obrigar as empresas do setor a repensar os seus processos e a adotar estrat\u00e9gias mais sustent\u00e1veis e resilientes.<\/p>\n

A mat\u00e9ria-prima continua a ser uma das maiores preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es da ind\u00fastria papeleira. A forte depend\u00eancia de fibras virgens, como o eucalipto, obriga a uma gest\u00e3o rigorosa dos recursos florestais. Segundo a The Navigator Company<\/strong>, uma das maiores empresas do setor em Portugal, mais de 80% da madeira utilizada nas suas unidades industriais \u00e9 de origem nacional e prov\u00e9m de florestas certificadas FSC\u00ae ou PEFC\u2122.<\/p>\n

Ao mesmo tempo, cresce o interesse por fontes alternativas de fibra, como res\u00edduos agr\u00edcolas e fibras recicladas.
