Luis Zamith \u00e9 neto do fundador, Ruy de Lacerda, e filho de David Zamith e Clara Lacerda Zamith, e personifica os valores que sempre correram nesta fam\u00edlia. Tendo crescido rodeado de um ambiente carinhoso e que fomentou a sua curiosidade e habilidades, Lu\u00eds decidiu tornar-se parte ativa do dia a dia da empresa que o seu av\u00f4 fundou, seguindo os exemplos do seu av\u00f4 e do seu pai.<\/p>\n

Parte da Ruy de Lacerda h\u00e1 mais de 20 anos, Lu\u00eds Zamith come\u00e7ou o seu percurso na empresa com 16 anos, trabalhando em part-time no armaz\u00e9m e adquirindo algumas responsabilidades administrativas.<\/p>\n

Tendo-se formado em Gest\u00e3o de Marketing, passou por v\u00e1rias \u00e1reas da empresa, incluindo a \u00e1rea comercial.<\/p>\n

Atualmente, lidera o departamento de Marketing, desenvolvendo estrat\u00e9gias para impulsionar a marca da Ruy de Lacerda e a levar ao futuro. Lu\u00eds Zamith: <\/strong>\u201cO que mais gosto no meu trabalho \u00e9 a oportunidade constante de inovar e gerar estrat\u00e9gias criativas que impactam diretamente o sucesso da empresa, dando a conhecer a nossa positiva diferen\u00e7a ao mercado.<\/p>\n

Qual foi um Momento Mais Marcante da sua Carreira?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lu\u00eds Zamith: <\/strong>\u201cUm momento inesquec\u00edvel foi quando, nos prim\u00f3rdios, tive a oportunidade de acompanhar clientes em visita a fornecedores no estrangeiro. Essa experi\u00eancia permitiu-me conhecer de forma mais intensa e eficaz a realidade da Ruy de Lacerda e observar a forma positiva como somos vistos tanto no mercado nacional quanto internacional. Foi extremamente gratificante ver de perto o reconhecimento e respeito que a nossa empresa tem, o que refor\u00e7ou o meu orgulho em fazer parte desta equipa e o meu compromisso com a nossa miss\u00e3o e valores.\u201d<\/p>\n

Quais s\u00e3o os seus Hobbies e Interesses<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lu\u00eds Zamith: \u201c<\/strong>Fora do trabalho gosto muito de praticar desporto, que se poss\u00edvel \u00e9 feito diariamente. Bicicleta e trabalho de resist\u00eancia s\u00e3o as modalidades preferenciais.<\/p>\n

Todos os anos abra\u00e7o o desafio em planear e completar 2 tours que somem pelo menos 600 km. Esse objetivo n\u00e3o s\u00f3 me mant\u00e9m fisicamente em forma, mas tamb\u00e9m fortalece a minha capacidade de planeamento e organiza\u00e7\u00e3o. Cada tour exige uma estrat\u00e9gia detalhada, ajuste de rotas e gest\u00e3o de tempo. Um equil\u00edbrio entre o desafio f\u00edsico e mental que me ajuda no dia-a-dia pessoal e profissional.<\/p>\n

Tamb\u00e9m sou um \u00e1vido leitor de temas da especialidade (desenvolvimento pessoal e inova\u00e7\u00e3o), gosto de motos, carros, mec\u00e2nica, bricolage, jardinagem e viajar dentro e fora de Portugal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Qual foi o melhor conselho profissional que recebeu?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lu\u00eds Zamith: <\/strong>\u201cO melhor conselho que recebi foi : ‘ Nunca pare de aprender e de se adaptar ‘. Este conselho tem sido fundamental ao longo da minha carreira na Ruy de Lacerda, permitindo-me evoluir com as mudan\u00e7as do mercado e sempre procurar por novas ferramentas e conhecimentos.\u201d<\/p>\n

De que forma a Ruy de Lacerda o ajudou a atingir os seus objetivos?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lu\u00eds Zamith: <\/strong>\u201cA Ruy de Lacerda sempre me ofereceu oportunidades de desenvolvimento e crescimento profissional, desde os primeiros dias at\u00e9 \u00e0 minha posi\u00e7\u00e3o atual. Sempre me deu espa\u00e7o para crescer tendo em conta o meu pr\u00f3prio ritmo.<\/p>\n

A empresa investiu na forma\u00e7\u00e3o e deu-me, igualmente, espa\u00e7o para assumir novos desafios e responsabilidades. Isso n\u00e3o s\u00f3 me ajudou a atingir os meus objetivos profissionais, mas tamb\u00e9m me permitiu crescer pessoalmente, desenvolvendo habilidades a v\u00e1rios n\u00edveis. Aprimorei a minha lideran\u00e7a, comunica\u00e7\u00e3o, resolu\u00e7\u00e3o de problemas e gest\u00e3o de tempo. Al\u00e9m disso, aprendi a construir e manter rela\u00e7\u00f5es interpessoais de forma mais eficaz, o que \u00e9 fundamental tanto no ambiente de trabalho quanto na vida pessoal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meet Our Marketing Director and Holder of Ruy de Lacerda’s Legacy: Lu\u00eds Zamith<\/strong><\/p>\n

Part of Ruy de Lacerda for more than 20 years, Lu\u00eds Zamith began his career with the company at the age of 16, working part-time in the warehouse and acquiring some administrative responsibilities.<\/p>\n

After familiarising himself with the day-to-day aspects of the company, he grew and took on positions and challenges that allowed him to get to know the roots of Ruy de Lacerda better.<\/p>\n

The journey at Ruy de Lacerda<\/strong><\/p>\n

Having graduated in Marketing Management, he has worked in various areas of the company, including sales.<\/p>\n

He currently heads up the Marketing department, developing strategies to boost Ruy de Lacerda’s brand and take it into the future. Through his experiences at Ruy de Lacerda, Lu\u00eds has better understood the values that his family members were guided by, thus discovering the importance of differentiation and maintaining partnerships of excellence.<\/p>\n

What you like most about your job and Ruy de Lacerda?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lu\u00eds Zamith:<\/strong>“What I like most about my job is the constant opportunity to innovate and generate creative strategies that directly impact the company’s success, making our positive difference known to the market.<\/p>\n

At Ruy de Lacerda, I deeply value our values and collaborative culture. It’s an environment where everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas and solutions and where we have the autonomy to manage our own work, without hierarchical pressures. This professional responsibility is added, but extremely rewarding, especially when we see the results of our efforts. Ruy de Lacerda trusts each and every one of us, and that trust motivates us to give our best every day.”<\/p>\n

What was a Career Defining Moment?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lu\u00eds Zamith:<\/strong> “An unforgettable moment was when, in the early days, I had the opportunity to accompany clients on visits to suppliers abroad. This experience allowed me to get to know the reality of Ruy de Lacerda in a more intense and effective way, and to see how positively we are perceived on both the national and international markets. It was extremely gratifying to see up close the recognition and respect our company enjoys, which reinforced my pride in being part of this team and my commitment to our mission and values.”<\/p>\n

What are your Hobbies and interests?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lu\u00eds Zamith:<\/strong> “Outside of work I really enjoy doing sport, which I do every day if possible. Cycling and endurance work are my favourite disciplines.<\/p>\n

Every year I take on the challenge of planning and completing two tours totalling at least 600 km. This goal not only keeps me physically fit, but also strengthens my planning and organisational skills. Each tour requires a detailed strategy, route adjustment and time management. A balance between physical and mental challenge that helps me in my day-to-day personal and professional life.<\/p>\n

I’m also an avid reader of specialised topics (personal development and innovation), I like motorbikes, cars, mechanics, DIY, gardening and travelling in and outside Portugal.”<\/p>\n

What was the best professional advice you received?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lu\u00eds Zamith:<\/strong>“The best advice I ever received was: ‘Never stop learning and adapting’. This advice has been fundamental throughout my career at Ruy de Lacerda, allowing me to evolve with market changes and always look for new tools and knowledge.”<\/p>\n

How has Ruy de Lacerda helped you achieve your goals?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lu\u00eds Zamith:<\/strong> “Ruy de Lacerda has always offered me opportunities for professional development and growth, from my early days to my current position. It has always given me room to grow at my own pace.<\/p>\n

The company invested in training and also gave me room to take on new challenges and responsibilities. This not only helped me achieve my professional goals, but also allowed me to grow personally, developing skills on various levels. I improved my leadership, communication, problem-solving and time management skills. What’s more, I’ve learnt how to build and maintain interpersonal relationships more effectively, which is fundamental both in the workplace and in my personal life.”<\/p>\n
