A gest\u00e3o de empresas familiares traz consigo desafios \u00fanicos, derivados dos fortes la\u00e7os pessoais que ligam as diferentes gera\u00e7\u00f5es e dos h\u00e1bitos e tradi\u00e7\u00f5es desenvolvidos. A Ruy de Lacerda \u00e9 uma empresa que j\u00e1 se encontra na 3\u00aa gera\u00e7\u00e3o de gest\u00e3o familiar, mas que continua sempre na vanguarda da inova\u00e7\u00e3o, mantendo os valores que nos foram incutidos, mas adaptando-se sempre a todas as grandes mudan\u00e7as globais.<\/p>\n

Ruy de Lacerda foi uma excelente pessoa que nasceu numa fam\u00edlia acad\u00e9mica, fez o curso na Conservat\u00f3ria de M\u00fasica do Porto e o curso de Engenharia Qu\u00edmica tamb\u00e9m no Porto. Toda a vida teve uma liga\u00e7\u00e3o da sua forma\u00e7\u00e3o cultural de fam\u00edlia, mas tamb\u00e9m de estudo com a atividade que teve de fornecedor da ind\u00fastria como comerciante.<\/p>\n

Como empres\u00e1rio iniciou a sua atividade profissional em janeiro de 1950, estabelecendo-se no centro do Porto, na Rua do Almada. Na crise dos anos 80, j\u00e1 fazendo eu parte da empresa, centralizamos o nosso armaz\u00e9m em Campanh\u00e3 e posteriormente, h\u00e1 cerca de 5 anos, instalamo-nos na Le\u00e7a da Palmeira onde estamos hoje.<\/p>\n

Ruy de Lacerda foi das primeiras empresas a aderir \u00e0 funda\u00e7\u00e3o da C\u00e2mara de Com\u00e9rcio e Ind\u00fastria Luso-Alem\u00e3, at\u00e9 fazer parte da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Comercial e C\u00e2mara de Com\u00e9rcio e Ind\u00fastria do Porto.<\/p>\n

Hoje fala-se da concilia\u00e7\u00e3o entre empresa e fam\u00edlia como um elemento-chave para a felicidade e desenvolvimento saud\u00e1vel de uma empresa. H\u00e1 50 anos isso j\u00e1 era praticado na Ruy de Lacerda.<\/p>\n

Em termos de condecora\u00e7\u00f5es atribu\u00eddas a Ruy de Lacerda, gostaria de referir a da Rep\u00fablica Federal Alem\u00e3, a Grande Cruz com Coroa de Ouro, a de Comendador da Ordem de Orange Nassau dos Pa\u00edses Baixos, a Ordem do Imp\u00e9rio Brit\u00e2nico e a condecora\u00e7\u00e3o atribu\u00edda pela cidade do Porto, atrav\u00e9s da chave de ouro da cidade, uma atribui\u00e7\u00e3o por unanimidade, que muito era apreciada pelo Ruy de Lacerda.<\/p>\n

Ruy de Lacerda foi um homem bom, um homem de car\u00e1ter e um homem que nos deixou um legado fant\u00e1stico ao ensinar-nos o valor da \u00e9tica comercial, que hoje a nossa 3\u00aa gera\u00e7\u00e3o aplica no dia a dia.<\/p>\n

Com estes valores e legado que nos foi passado, mantemos sempre o respeito e tratamento excelente de todos os nossos parceiros e colaboradores, fortalecendo cada vez mais as rela\u00e7\u00f5es interpessoais e respeitando as tradi\u00e7\u00f5es das gera\u00e7\u00f5es anteriores, sempre com um olhar atento para o futuro, capazes de prever e de nos adaptar a todas as situa\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n

Family Business Management – Ruy de Lacerda’s success over 3 generations<\/strong><\/p>\n

Managing family businesses brings with it unique challenges, derived from the strong personal ties that bind the different generations and the habits and traditions that have been developed. Ruy de Lacerda is a company that is already in its third generation of family management, but which always remains at the forefront of innovation, maintaining the values that have been instilled in us, but always adapting to all the major global changes.<\/p>\n

Ruy de Lacerda was an excellent person who was born into an academic family, studying at the Conservatory of Music in Porto and Chemical Engineering in Porto. All his life he had a connection between his cultural upbringing in his family and his studies and his work as a supplier to the industry as a businessman.<\/p>\n

As a businessman, he began his professional activity in January 1950, establishing himself in the centre of Porto, in Rua do Almada. In the crisis of the 1980s, when I was already part of the company, we centralised our warehouse in Campanh\u00e3 and then, about five years ago, we moved to Le\u00e7a da Palmeira, where we are today.<\/p>\n

Ruy de Lacerda was one of the first companies to join the founding of the German-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and went on to become part of the Porto Commercial Association and Chamber of Commerce and Industry.<\/p>\n

Today we talk about reconciling business and family as a key element for a company’s happiness and healthy development. Fifty years ago this was already practised at Ruy de Lacerda.<\/p>\n

In terms of decorations awarded to Ruy de Lacerda, I would like to mention the one from the German Federal Republic, the Grand Cross with Gold Crown, the Commander of the Order of Orange Nassau of the Netherlands, the Order of the British Empire and the decoration awarded by the city of Porto, through the city’s golden key, a unanimous award that Ruy de Lacerda greatly appreciated.<\/p>\n

Ruy de Lacerda was a good man, a man of character and a man who left us a fantastic legacy by teaching us the value of commercial ethics, which our third generation now applies on a daily basis.<\/p>\n

With these values and legacy passed down to us, we always maintain the respect and excellent treatment of all our partners and collaborators, increasingly strengthening interpersonal relationships and respecting the traditions of previous generations, always with an eye to the future, able to foresee and adapt to all situations.<\/p>\n
