Este regulamento representa um marco crucial na transforma\u00e7\u00e3o do mercado europeu para produtos mais sustent\u00e1veis e circulares, alinhando-se com os objetivos do Plano de Economia Circular lan\u00e7ado em 2020.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember940\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Esta \u00e9 apenas mais uma das muitas medidas que a Uni\u00e3o Europeia tem vindo a desenvolver e implementar para potenciar a economia circular e a sustentabilidade. Neste artigo abordamos este regulamento e o impacto que ter\u00e1 na economia europeia e nas suas empresas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong>Contexto e Import\u00e2ncia do Regulamento<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember942\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">O consumo de produtos \u00e9 uma das principais causas das altera\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas e da polui\u00e7\u00e3o. Diante desse desafio, a Comiss\u00e3o Europeia introduziu o ESPR como uma pe\u00e7a fundamental na sua estrat\u00e9gia para enfrentar a crise ambiental e promover um modelo de economia circular. Este regulamento visa n\u00e3o apenas aumentar a circularidade dos produtos, mas tamb\u00e9m melhorar o seu desempenho energ\u00e9tico e outros aspectos da sustentabilidade.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember943\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">O ESPR estabelece um conjunto de crit\u00e9rios rigorosos para que um produto seja considerado sustent\u00e1vel, incluindo:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Efici\u00eancia Energ\u00e9tica:<\/strong> os produtos devem consumir menos energia durante o uso.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Durabilidade:<\/strong> devem ter uma vida \u00fatil mais longa.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reparabilidade:<\/strong> Deve ser f\u00e1cil reparar produtos danificados.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Facilidade de Desmontagem:<\/strong> Partes do produto devem ser facilmente separ\u00e1veis para outros usos.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Redu\u00e7\u00e3o de Subst\u00e2ncias Perigosas:<\/strong> devem conter menos subst\u00e2ncias nocivas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reciclabilidade:<\/strong> Produtos devem ser facilmente recicl\u00e1veis.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Conte\u00fado Reciclado:<\/strong> Produtos devem ter uma maior propor\u00e7\u00e3o de materiais reciclados.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pegada Ambiental:<\/strong> Deve-se reduzir a pegada de carbono e outros impactos ambientais ao longo do ciclo de vida do produto.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Novas Medidas Introduzidas pelo Regulamento<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember946\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">O ESPR incorpora tr\u00eas novas medidas importantes:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Passaporte Digital de Materiais:<\/strong> Este cart\u00e3o de identidade digital armazenar\u00e1 informa\u00e7\u00f5es cruciais sobre os produtos, como desempenho t\u00e9cnico, origem dos materiais e impactos ambientais. Este passaporte facilitar\u00e1 a transpar\u00eancia e permitir\u00e1 que consumidores e operadores econ\u00f3micos fa\u00e7am escolhas mais informadas e sustent\u00e1veis.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Regras para Destrui\u00e7\u00e3o de Produtos N\u00e3o Vendidos:<\/strong> O regulamento pro\u00edbe a destrui\u00e7\u00e3o de t\u00eaxteis e cal\u00e7ado n\u00e3o vendidos e abre a possibilidade de expans\u00e3o dessa proibi\u00e7\u00e3o para outros setores. Esta medida visa reduzir o desperd\u00edcio e promover a reutiliza\u00e7\u00e3o dos produtos.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Contratos P\u00fablicos Ecol\u00f3gicos:<\/strong> Dado que as compras p\u00fablicas representam uma parte significativa da economia, o regulamento estabelece crit\u00e9rios obrigat\u00f3rios para tornar as aquisi\u00e7\u00f5es p\u00fablicas mais sustent\u00e1veis, influenciando assim um setor crucial na economia europeia.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p id=\"ember948\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\"><strong>Impacto na Repara\u00e7\u00e3o e Sustentabilidade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember949\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">O regulamento aborda a quest\u00e3o da repara\u00e7\u00e3o de maneira detalhada, dando prioridade a produtos em segunda m\u00e3o, pois produtos recondicionados ou reparados provenientes da UE n\u00e3o s\u00e3o considerados como produtos novos, e ter\u00e3o uma vantagem competitiva sobre este tipo de produtos, podendo circular na UE sem terem de cumprir os requisitos de produ\u00e7\u00e3o ecol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember950\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">O passaporte digital permitir\u00e1 aos consumidores acederem a informa\u00e7\u00f5es detalhadas sobre a repara\u00e7\u00e3o, recondicionamento e reutiliza\u00e7\u00e3o, obrigando os fornecedores a fornecer informa\u00e7\u00f5es transparentes e atualizadas.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember951\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Finalmente, o regulamento define par\u00e2metros espec\u00edficos para a facilidade de repara\u00e7\u00e3o e manuten\u00e7\u00e3o, exigindo que os produtos sejam desenhados para durar mais tempo e serem facilmente repar\u00e1veis, incluindo a disponibilidade de pe\u00e7as sobressalentes e manuais de instru\u00e7\u00e3o pelos produtores.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember952\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Esta regula\u00e7\u00e3o pode ter um forte impacto nos processos produtivos das empresas, que ter\u00e3o de redesenhar ou alterar alguns produtos. Para as empresas industriais, estas medidas ir\u00e3o requerer alguns ajustes a n\u00edvel processual e de design de produto, mas a longo prazo s\u00e3o uma excelente forma de proteger o ambiente e os consumidores.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember955\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">Para a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o do plano, ser\u00e1 elaborado um exerc\u00edcio de prioriza\u00e7\u00e3o seguido da publica\u00e7\u00e3o do plano de trabalhos que estabelece os produtos e medidas a abordar no \u00e2mbito deste Regulamento. De seguida as regras a serem aplicadas aos diferentes produtos ser\u00e3o desenhadas consultando as partes interessadas, nomeadamente as empresas produtoras e associa\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong>Conclus\u00e3o<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember957\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">O Regulamento de Conce\u00e7\u00e3o Ecol\u00f3gica para Produtos Sustent\u00e1veis marca um avan\u00e7o significativo na estrat\u00e9gia da Uni\u00e3o Europeia para a sustentabilidade e economia circular. Ao estabelecer crit\u00e9rios rigorosos para a sustentabilidade dos produtos e introduzir novas medidas como o passaporte digital e regras sobre a destrui\u00e7\u00e3o de produtos n\u00e3o vendidos, o ESPR n\u00e3o s\u00f3 promove um mercado mais sustent\u00e1vel, mas tamb\u00e9m refor\u00e7a a posi\u00e7\u00e3o da UE como l\u00edder global em pol\u00edticas ambientais. Grupo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember965\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">On 18 July, the European Union took a significant step towards sustainability with the entry into force of the Ecodesign Regulation for Sustainable Products (ESPR). This regulation represents a crucial milestone in the transformation of the European market towards more sustainable and circular products, in line with the objectives of the Circular Economy Plan launched in 2020.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember966\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">This is just one of the many measures that the European Union has been developing and implementing to boost the circular economy and sustainability. In this article we discuss this regulation and the impact it will have on the European economy and its companies.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong>Context and importance of the regulation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember968\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">The consumption of products is one of the main causes of climate change and pollution. Faced with this challenge, the European Commission introduced the ESPR as a key part of its strategy to tackle the environmental crisis and promote a circular economy model. This regulation aims not only to increase the circularity of products, but also to improve their energy performance and other aspects of sustainability.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember969\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">The ESPR establishes a set of strict criteria for a product to be considered sustainable, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Energy Efficiency:<\/strong> products should consume less energy during use.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Durability:<\/strong> they should have a longer lifespan.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Repairability: <\/strong>damaged products should be easy to repair.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ease of Disassembly:<\/strong> Parts of the product should be easily separable for other uses.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reduction of Hazardous Substances:<\/strong> they should contain fewer harmful substances.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Recyclability:<\/strong> Products should be easily recyclable.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Recycled Content:<\/strong> Products should have a higher proportion of recycled materials.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Environmental Footprint:<\/strong> The carbon footprint and other environmental impacts should be reduced throughout the product&#8217;s life cycle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember971\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\"><strong>New Measures Introduced by the Regulation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"ember972\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\">The ESPR incorporates three important new measures:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Digital Materials Passport:<\/strong> This digital identity card will store crucial information about products, such as technical performance, origin of materials and environmental impacts. This passport will facilitate transparency and allow consumers and economic operators to make more informed and sustainable choices.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rules for Destruction of Unsold Products: <\/strong>The regulation bans the destruction of unsold textiles and footwear and opens up the possibility of expanding this ban to other sectors.
